Jan 10, 2007 Jan. 11--A wholly owned subsidiary of AAA Carolinas is offering deep annual-rate discounts to long-term members and a concierge service to persuade motorists to switch their auto insurance. But AAA Carolinas recently started The Member's Insurance Co. "because we saw a need for an insurance company that placed convenience and service first for its customers," Jim McCafferty, the president of the company, said yesterday. Membership with AAA Carolinas is not required to buy auto insurance from Member's Insurance.....
