pounds THE cost of car insurance rose by more than 4 per cent over the last quarter of 2006, taking the average premium for an annual comprehensive policy to more than pounds 800 for the first time, according to AA Insurance. The average cost of a third party policy also rose, to just under pounds 1,000.
