Online insurance firm Swiftcover is using one of the oldest jokes in the book to highlight its quick-quote promise. Continuing its use of chickens, which in previous ads represented the 'clucking' that takes place in call centres and leaves consumers on hold, the execution features two weary staff from Fowl Car Insurance taking a tea break. As the pair stand on the street, their lower halves clad in chicken costumes, they see a fully-costumed chicken burst out of the office and dash across the street to an internet caf, where it gets a quote for its car insurance from Swiftcover in less than 60 seconds. As they head back to the office, one character turns to the other and says 'Now I know why the chicken crossed the road'.
