Mar 21, 2007BEAT the bulge by holding your own 'no car' day. Try leaving your motor at home and walk, cycle or use public transport instead. It shouldn't be too hard - a quarter of trips made by car are less than two miles.
If thousands of us take up the challenge we'll burn off calories, cut pollution, ease congestion and, if you reduce your mileage enough, pave the way for cheaper car insurance.
