CAR COST FALLS
pounds THE average cost of car insurance fell slightly over the first quarter of 2007, after ending last year at an all-time high. According to research by the AA, the average quoted premium for annual comprehensive car insurance ended the quarter at pounds 802, just pounds 4 less than the all-time high of pounds 806.
TRADING PLACES

MEMORY DEBIT
pounds BANK customers lose over pounds 5.2bn each year on forgotten direct debits and standing orders. Research by The Debt Advisor found that one in five customers can't remember what many of their electronic payments were set up for, and this costs them on average pounds 650 a year.
