Jun 17, 2007THE following people were dealt with at Cardiff Magistrates Court: David Price, 41, of Ninian Park Road, Leckwith, Cardiff, was fined a total of pounds 220 with pounds 50 court costs and had three penalty points added to his driving licence, after pleading guilty to driving without the correct licence, without an MoT and with a defective car tyre. Craig Stephen Cummings, 20, of Grand Avenue, Ely, Cardiff, was fined pounds 100 and had six penalty points added to his driving licence after pleading guilty to using a car without insurance and without a valid licence. Darren Lee Hogan, 22, of Loudoun Square, Butetown, Cardiff, was given a five-month community order and told to pay pounds 75 court costs after pleading guilty to having a kitchen knife in public.
Milan Sehnal, 23, of Bryn Fedw, Llanedeyrn, Cardiff, was given an 18-month conditional discharge after pleading guilty to stealing two lead sheets.
Thomas Shamus Fadian, 23, of Hastings Avenue, Penarth, was given a total of 120 days imprisonment, suspended for 12 months, and told to pay a total of pounds 71.98 in compensation to two separate stores after pleading guilty to stealing two crates of Stella Artois lager, meat and other groceries, and failing to comply with a community order, given for possessing an offensive weapon.
Kalwant Singh Ghuman, 20, of Craiglee Drive, Butetown, Cardiff, was fined pounds 180 with pounds 50 court costs and had three penalty points added to his driving licence after he was convicted in his absence of having a defective tyre on his car.
Ronald Hooley, 45, of Heol Trelai, Ely, Cardiff, was fined pounds 100 with pounds 45 court costs and disqualified from driving for two months after he was convicted in his absence of driving without the correct licence and using a car without insurance.
Dafydd Hughes, 36, of South Clive Street, Grangetown, Cardiff, was fined pounds 200 with pounds 45 court costs after pleading guilty to using threatening words or behaviour.
Simon Andrew Jones, 27, of Gwylam Court, Lansbury Park, Caerphilly, was fined pounds 50 after pleading guilty to using threatening words or behaviour.
Lewis Vivian Martin, 18, of St Fagans Road, Fairwater, Cardiff, was fined a total of pounds 100 and banned from driving for six months after pleading guilty to driving without the correct licence and using a car without insurance or an MoT.
Glenn Mailkowski, 36, of Llewellyn Street, Barry, was given a two- year conditional discharge and told to pay pounds 175 costs after he was convicted of using threatening behaviour with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Michael Murphy, 68, of Dickens Avenue, Llanrumney, Cardiff, was fined a total of pounds 200 with pounds 75 court costs, told to pay pounds 300 compensation and banned from driving for six months after pleading guilty to driving without insurance and being convicted of driving without due care and attention.
